Lobuche peak 6119m, can be attractive peak for climbing experience in Nepal. This trip allows you to explore the wilderness of Sagarmatha NP and gives taste of adventure.

There exist two distinct summit to Lobuche peak: Lobuche east (6119m/ 20,075ft ) and Lobuche west ( 6145m/ 20161ft). Although they are connected by a continuous ridge there is a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. The trekking peak permit is for the east peak, whilst Lobuche west, requires an expedition permit. Lobuche peak is an attractive summit, offering a variety of existing routes and wide scope for new lines.

What you need to bring
  • Personal belongings (i.e.camera, water bottle, extra money, sunscreen/sunblock, sunglasses, sunhat, hiking shorts/ synthetic T-shirt etc)
  • Hiking boots, camp shoe/sports shoe/ trainers, 3 to 4 pairs woolen socks,2 pairs liners socks, 1 liner gloves & 1 pair mitten, warm hat,1 Day back pack 35 -50 ltr capacity.
  • Warm layers, down or synthetic jackets, fleece, hiking pants, Thermals.
Personal Climbing equipment
  • Climbing Shoe (plastic boots will be preferable),
  • Crampons one pair,
  • Lucking-1 & 1 un-lucking carabineer,
  • Guide ATC-1,
  • Prussic 7mm dynamic rope for safety – 1 pcs,

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel.

Day 3 Flight to Lukla 35 minute world’s adventures mountain flight (2840m), Trek to Chuthanga ( 3020m) ascent 180m.

Day 4Phakding to Namche Bazaar altitude 3440m ascent 830m.

Khumbu villages splashed with brightly-colored prayer flags dot the way to Namche Bazaar, the largest of the Sherpa villages. Keep your eyes open for mani stones! It’s a six hour hike today, still trailing the Dudh Koshi, and crossing it periodically over precipitous suspension bridges!

Day 5Acclimatization day, explore Namche Bazaar and monasteries and museum.

Today’s a day for rest. We believe in gradual acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness, and so today we stop over in Namche Bazaar. The intrepid can opt for a two-hour hike to the famous Everest View, which will help you acclimate and show off some majestic mountain views! By itself, Namche is full of interest. Check out the museum dedicated to Sherpa history and the people’s role in helping trekkers – there is a whole exhibit dedicated to Hilary. Do some shopping, and meet the locals.

Day 6Namche Bazaar to Tengboche altitude 3860m ascent 520m.

he trekking definitely gets tougher at this point, but the rewards are rich, too. Our path today gifts us with our first views of the Himalayan peaks in their glory: Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde. Our stopping point, Tengboche, is known as one of the most gorgeous spots We’ll arrive in time to visit the important Buddhist monastery here. Feel free to leave a donation for the monks if you wish.

Day 7Acclimatization day Tengboche altitude 3860m.

Day 8Tengboche to Dingboche altitude 4410m ascent 550m.

Day 9Dingboche to Lobuche altitude 4910m ascent 320m.

Day 10 Preparation at Lobuche, Introduction climbing gear and handling.

Day 11Trek to high camp and camping, tented camp.

Day 12Peak summit of lobuche 6189m and back to Lobuche or Dezogla and stay.

Day 13Extra day if incase bad weather and couldn’t summit, we give one more try for summit.

Day 14Lobuche to Pangboche and stay.

Day 15pangboche to Namche Bazaar stay in Namche bazaar.

Day 16 Namche Bazaar to Lukla and stay in lukla.

Day 17Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu takes 35 minutes.

Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu takes 35 minutes. You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 18Free day in Kathmandu for shopping or you can go for city tour.

Day 19Departure

As per your flight schedule, our airport representative will transfer you from your hotel to the airport for your final departure.
