Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport by your agent and transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon guided walk through the old neighborhoods and around the former royal palace in Kathmandu
Night in hotel
Tour. Starting to go to the famous stupa of Boudhanath, the largest in the world, and the Mecca of Tibetan Buddhism. Then, continue to Patan, the ancient royal capital. This city is a veritable outdoor museum with its palaces, pagodas, monasteries, temples and shrines.

Early departure to the airport. Arrival in Lukla and meeting with your local team. Start walking along the Dudh Kosi. After Phakding, we reach the village of Knock with a beautiful waterfall.

We ascend the valley and cross a suspension bridge over the river. Long climb to reach Namche, the capital of the Khumbu region.

We reach the pretty village of Thame, surrounded by fields of potatoes, main crop of Sherpa country. Thame is the village’s of famous Apa Sherpa, who has a Lodge in his hometown and has climbed Everest for more than 10 times. Visit the monastery, 200 m above the village.

We will go to discover the famous village of Khumjung, a village dear to the heart of Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Everest. Along the way, you will perhaps come across the national bird of Nepal, Danphe. Visit the monastery where you can ask to see the skull of the famous Yeti. Great views of Ama Dablam and the sacred mountain of the Sherpas, the Khumbi La.

Crossing the Monla pass (3980 m). Off to a stupa (Buddhist monument) from where one has a beautiful view of Tengboche Monastery, located just opposite. Uphill through rhododendrons, junipers and conifers. Nice view of the traditional sherpa villages and Thamserku sherpa.

Short day to reach the glacial lakes of Gokyo. What a fantastic view from our lodge!

Easy but slow ascend of Gokyo Peak (5360 m), a magnificent viewpoint of the surrounding peaks. Stroll arround the many lakes and get prepared to reach the base camp of Cho Oyu.

We walk down to the first lake of Gokyo. We cross a well-marked path Ngozumpa of the glacial moraine to reach the pastures of Thangnak

Tough day with the passage of the Cho (5380 m), view the peaks Cholatse and Tawoche. High mountain atmosphere and snow . On the way, we will perhaps meet the ptarmigan.The rare bird with black a grey feathers in summer and white feathers in winter.
Descend down a trail in the balcony above Lake Chola to join the classic route that leads to Lobuche. You walk along the moraine of the Khumbu. Beautiful view of Ama Dablam and Makalu. On the way, you’ll come across many herds of Yaks

Lovely view of Nuptse (7800m). Leisurely stroll around this small plateau surrounded by the highest mountains in the world. Recovery of physical tiredness to continue the further walk.

Walk along a winding path up to Kalapathar, the buttress of Pumori. Exceptional belvedere on Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. You see the South Col where camps settle before advancing expeditions to Everest. At Periche, we visit the medical post to check our physique . And long downhill stroll to Dingboche, the first village in the valley of Chukung
Rest or opportunity to reach the last village in the valley: Chukhung and attempt to ascend the Chukung Ri (5040 m) (7 am A / R) or explore the village of Dingboche and go to Dingboche Ri (3h A / R), depending on your physical form.

Short step to recover from the physical tiredness. Visit the Nunnery nearby. Overnight in Lodge
Visit the monastery of Thyangboche, the largest in the Khumbu. The view of Ama Dablam is superb. Back to Namche Overnight in Lodge.

Buffer day in case of flight delays. Free day to explore the valley (Bhaktapur, the monkey temple Swoyanbunath, etc..) Or to make final purchases. Overnight at hotel
Transfer to Kathmandu airport for your return flight home.
